(KAIR)--A Missouri woman facing various drug related charges in two Atchison County drug cases has been sentenced to forty months of supervised probation.
29-year-old Kristen Milum, of Kearney, MO appeared in an Atchison County courtroom Friday morning to hear her sentence in each of the two separate cases.
The first case stems from an incident that took place in April of this year when Milum was found to have methamphetamine in her possession after being found in a pickup truck that had been taken from Kansas City. She provide police with a false name, which led to a charge of interference with a law enforcement officer, along with the charge of possession of methamphetamine. Judge Martin Asher sentenced her to twenty months of supervised probation for the possession of methamphetamine charge, and eight months of supervised probation for the interference with a law enforcement officer charge, with both sentences to run concurrently.
Milum was arrested two weeks after the first incident and again charged with possession of methamphetamine. Asher sentenced her to another twenty months of supervised probation in that case, to run consecutively with the first sentence.
After both sentences were handed down, it was discovered that Milum had a warrant for her arrest issued out of Clay County Missouri. Milum agreed to be transported to Clay to deal with that case, with Judge Asher reminding her to contact the Atchison County Probation office as soon as the Missouri matter was resolved.
