(KMZA)--The man hired earlier this year as the new Marysville Junior-Senior High School Principal has resigned.
The USD 364 Board of Education during their meeting last week accepted the resignation of Randy Shockley.
Shockley had planned to move to Marysville from Donnellson, Iowa where he served as a high school principal. He had been hired to replace current Marysville High School Principal Sheri Harmer and Junior High School Principal Cindy Scarbrough who are leaving their positions.
Board President Sonya Stohs told the Marysville Advocate Shockley’s resignation was based on personal reasons.
The district has begun advertising to fill the position.
