More Storms Possible this Weekend
(KTNC)--It is a good idea to keep a close eye on the sky this weekend.
National Weather service meteorologist Brian Miller says more severe weather is on the way.
Miller says there will be a few thunderstorms Saturday morning but nothing severe is expected. As the day goes on warm and cold fronts will collide over Nebraska and that brings the potential for severe thunderstorms.
Those severe storms could produce very large hail, heavy rain, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes. The storm area will stretch from central Nebraska into western Iowa and from Kansas north to Minnesota but Miller says the exact location depends on where the cold and warm fronts meet.
