(KNZA)--A Hiawatha woman remains jailed, following her arrest last week in the community of Horton, taken into custody on charges including possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Horton Police Chief John Calhoon says 23-year-old Angel Rose Green was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs when a Brown District Court Warrant, for criminal deprivation of property, was served at 200 East 15th Street in Horton.
That location sits within 1,000 feet of the Elementary School, leading to her arrest on that charge.
As of Monday, Green remained in custody at the Brown County Jail.
