(KLZA) -- The Falls City Aquatic Park will be opening Friday. The pool will be open regular hours 1 p-m until 8 p-m. Registration for American Red Cross Swim lessons will be on Saturday from 9 – 11 a-m at the Aquatic Park.
The Aquatic Park was to have opened last weekend but a problem with the circulation system has been allowing water to escape from the pool. The problem is not fixed and the contractors that built the pool are to come do some testing to find the problem.
The amount of water being lost daily is unknown. The pool holds 318,000 gallons of water. The Falls City Aquatic Park opened in August 2006. This will be the 8th full season for the pool.
