(KNZA)--One person was killed Sunday evening when a car collided head-on with a motorcycle on K-32 Highway in Leavenworth County east of Linwood
The Kansas Highway Patrol says car driven by 35-year-old Jaime Carter of New Century, Kansas was eastbound when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 50-year-old Kristopher Steuber, of Gardner.
A passenger on the motorcycle, Gardner resident 49-year-old Mary Steuber, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Kristopher Steuber was transported to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City with disabling injuries. Carter was not hurt.
The wreck was reported at 5:40 Sunday evening.
