(KLZA) -- During the May directors meeting of the Auburn, Nebraska Board of Public Works, General Manager Dave Hunter was authorized to implement a Stage I Water Watch due to low well static levels.
Due to a lack of rain to recharge the wells, the water level is well below normal for this time of year.
Auburn BPW water customers are requested to make efficient use of water inside and to curtail some outdoor water usage.
The BPW will be monitoring the wells and will upgrade the water watch stage if necessary.
