(KNZA)--A single-vehicle wreck in the city of Highland Sunday evening sent a Highland woman to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Cassie Rawles was westbound on East Spring Street when for an unknown reason her car left the roadway. The vehicle struck a power pole and came to rest next to a house.
Rawles was transported to the Hiawatha Community Hospital with disabling injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly after 6:30 Sunday evening about one-tenth of a mile west of Walnut Street in Highland.
