(KAIR)--A Missouri couple has been arrested for the second time in two weeks after Atchison police are alerted that one of them has a warrant out for their arrest.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, the felony warrant for burglary was issued for 29-year-old Kristen Milum of Kearney, MO. The department was also notified that she had come into contact with 33-year-old Stanley Fleer of Kansas City, MO. Police located the pair driving a Ford Explorer with Missouri tags in the 600 block of Santa Fe late Friday morning. Upon investigation, a substance believed to be methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.
Both Fleer and Milum were transported to the Atchison County Jail. Fleer is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended. Milum is facing charges of violating bond conditions, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
Milum and Fleer were arrested two weeks ago after being found in a pickup truck that had been allegedly stolen from Kansas City. Methamphetamine was allegedly found in their possession in that case as well.
Early last week, Milum plead guilty to possession of methamphetamine and interference with a law enforcement officer in connection with the earlier case, and a sentencing date was set for June 2nd. She posted bond shortly after her plea.
Fleer had just been released on bond hours before the second arrest took place.
