(KAIR)--The Atchison Art Association is preparing to host the second annual Open Air Fair this weekend.
According to a release from the Association, the event is an European style open air market fostering the exchange of ideas, motivation, and creation.
Patty Boldridge, who is President of the Association, says there are a variety of activities planned for the event, including the showing of a movie showcasing the Atchison River that features city and county residents. There will also be a panel discussion on the film after its conclusion.
Boldridge adds there is is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy in the relaxed atmosphere of the fair. You can sit back and enjoy a number of food options in the relaxed atmosphere, or you can wander around while enjoying the music and looking at the large number of demos that will be available.
The Friends of the Kansas City Zoo will also be in attendance, educating the audience on a variety of animals. The animals presented in the show will depend on the current weather conditions.
The Open Air Fair will take place along the Atchison Riverfront Saturday from 10:00am-5:00PM. Everyone is invited to attend.
