(KNZA)--Three Horton residents—including a 4-month-old child---escaped serious injury in a rear end collision on U.S. 75 Highway Sunday evening about nine miles north of Holton.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Jessica Foster was northbound when her car struck the rear of another car that was stopped on the highway waiting to make a turn onto K-9 about 5:45.
Foster and two passengers in her car, 4-month-old Treyton Curtright and 5-year-old Brianna Curtright, were transported to the Holton Community Hospital for treatment of possible injuries. Both children have since been released.
The driver of the other car, 31-year-old Christopher Jones of Wetmore, was not hurt.
