(KLZA)--A 32-year-old Falls City man is facing charges following what authorities say was an attack on two police officers
Assistant Police Chief Jamie Baker says the officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Wilson Street around 10:30 Saturday night. It was there, they say, Craig Hayes was involved in an an altercation with another person.
When police stepped in, Hayes allegedly turned on them, striking both while attempting to take one of the officers' weapons.
Unsuccessful in his attempt, the officers were able to subdue Hayes, who was arrested at the scene.
The officers were not injured.
