(KMZA)--A Frankfort man escaped injury after his semi truck was destroyed by fire.
It occurred early Thursday morning at a livestock sale barn in Salina.
KSAL radio reports a knock on the cab door woke up 24-year-old Cody Ford shortly before 3:45 as an unidentified man alerted him that his 2001 Kenworth semi truck was on fire.
Moments later fire crews arrived on scene to help put out a blaze that was contained to the semi. The truck, valued at $43,000, is a total loss.
Cause of the fire is still under investigation
