(KMZA)--The 27th annual Nemaha Valley Community Hospital Health Fair is set for Saturday morning in Seneca.
The theme for this year’s health fair is “ Think, Live, Be...Well!” The idea is designed is to encourage people to make lifestyle changes for a healthier life and spread the word on healthy living.
There will be 35 booths representing vendors or services offered at the hospital and the surrounding community at the Health Fair, which will run from 8 to 11 at the Nemaha County Community building.
Some of the services that will be offered will include osteoporosis screenings. The Kansas LIONS Sight Foundation will have a booth doing vision screenings for individual’s age 6 months and over. Northeast Kansas Infant & Toddler Program will be doing hearing screenings for children up to 3 years of age. Blood pressure screenings will be offered, and lab work will be offered for a “ one day only, reduced fee” the morning of the health fair.
The Seneca EMS ambulance will be on display for participants to explore as well as the LIFESTAR helicopter that is scheduled to land around 10.
