(KNZA)--A roll-over wreck Sunday night in Jackson County left the driver with serious injuries.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the sheriff’s office responded shortly before 9:15 near the intersection of K-16 Highway and 198th Road.
Morse says a pickup left the highway heading south from the Birmingham curve off of K-16 Highway at T. Road. The truck struck a utility pole, and continued south through a field and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in a creek.
The driver of the vehicle, identified only as Eric Schrick, was ejected from the truck. Morse says Schrick was taken to Topeka’s St. Francis Health Center with debilitating injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
