(KAIR)--New details are released in the case of a Platte County man who was found dead at a residence Tuesday. Officials identify him as 56-year-old Darrell Brooks.
Brooks' step-son, 59-year-old James Gibson, was questioned in the death, and has been placed on a twenty-four hour investigative hold at the Platte County Detention Center.
Officers were called to a residence in the 18-thousand block of Interurban Road in rural Platte County twice Tuesday on disturbance calls. Brooks' body was discovered during the second visit.
