(KAIR)--The Highland Community College Technical Center has reported that multiple tools were taken from a home they are constructing in the 500 block of S Street in Atchison.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, the theft took place some time Wednesday evening, and was reported to the department by the school Thursday morning.
Wilson says there were no obvious signs of a forced entry, and the method of entry into the structure has yet to be determined.
The tools, which included saws, air compressors, drills, batteries, and nailers are valued at over $7,000.
