(KNZA)--A two-vehicle head-on Jackson County crash Thursday afternoon sent five to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the wreck happened on Highway 75, about a mile west of the Highway 9 junction around 1:00.
The Patol says 23-year-old Hunter Snyder, of Fairview, was southbound in the northbound lane, and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by 27-year-old Jasmine Crawford, of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Snyder was not hurt, but Crawford and her four passengers, 30-year-old Kylanna Crawford, 48-year-old Vynetta Wood, 9-year-old Kaya Russell and 6-month old Jayden Poindexter, were all transported to Topeka's Stormont Vail for treatment.
The children suffered only possible injuries.
The patrol says the occupants of both vehicles were properly restrained. However, it's unknown if Wooden was wearing a seatbelt.
