(KAIR)--The lane closure that was scheduled to start Friday morning on the Amelia Earhart Memorial bridge has been postponed.
According to a release from KDOT, the work will now take place between 8:30AM and 4:30PM on Monday and Tuesday of next week, weather permitting.
East and westbound US 59 highway over the bridge will be reduced to one lane, one direction at a time, for navigational light work within the bridge arches. Drivers should expect minor delays during the daily lane closures, and will be directed through the work zone via signage and cones.
KDOT is urging all motorists to exercise caution and obey all signs when going through the project area.
