(KNZA)--The South Brown County USD 430 School District has launched an investigation into an allegation of possible improper contact between a high school teacher and a student.
Superintendent Doctor Steve Davies says all leads are being followed as the district probe moves forward. “We had some information given to the principal at the high school that there was a little bit too [much] familiarity between a teacher and a student. We have launched an investigation to check into that. We would do that at any time with any type of comment made along the lines that this was,” Davies says. “We will do our part in our investigation and I'm sure law enforcement will be involved and they'll do their part in the investigation.”
The teacher, identified only as a female, has been suspended with pay.
As the investigation continues, no additional details are being made public.
