(KMZA)-- Nemaha Central USD 115 will hold a public hearing Thursday evening on the proposal to close the B & B Junior/Senior High school building.
Superintendent Darrel Kohlman says the hearing, which is required by state statue, will take place at 7 in the B & B Junior/Senior High School gym.
Those wishing to comment will have to register and will be limited to five minute presentations. Board members will also answer questions.
Citing low enrollment, the board voted last year to close the B & B school at the end of the 2013-2014 school year. Students are to attend school in Seneca beginning in the 2014-2015 school year.
The board voted late last year to sell the B & B building to Highland Community College. The college plans to open its Western Technical Center at the building this August.
