(KMZA)--A Havensville man was injured Wednesday morning when his semi rear-ended another semi on K-7 Highway in Johnson County, Kansas
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Glen Baird struck the rear of a semi, which didn’t have a trailer attached, that was stopped at a red light at the 43rd Street northbound intersection in Shawnee shortly before 10.
Baird was transported to the Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the other semi, a Lees Summit, Missouri man, was also injured and transported to a Kansas City hospital.
The Patrol says both semi drivers were wearing seat belts.
