(KAIR)--One vehicle rear ends another in Atchison County and that sends three people to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports it happened Tuesday afternoon as a car, driven by 30-year-old Atchison resident Katie Turpin, was stopped on U.S. Highway 73, waiting to turn onto 262nd Road. That's when she was rear ended by a minivan that failed to stop, driven by 44-year-old Jasen Sutley, of Lancaster.
Turpin was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center, in Saint Joseph, while her passenger, 32-year-old Beth Clark, of Atchison, was transported to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.
Sutley suffered possible injuries and was taken to the Atchison Hospital.
The Patrol says all three were wearing seatbelts when the wreck happened shortly after 4:00.
