(KLZA) -- Richardson County Commissioners had a short agenda for their Tuesday meeting.
The Board appointed Emergency Management Agency Director Brian Dixon to the Southeast Nebraska Emergency Management Group and the Richardson County Safety Committee to fill vacancies created by the retirement of Jim Gerweck.
County Attorney Doug Merz reviewed a claim with the Board received from Lancaster County for burial expenses of a Richardson County resident. The claim is for approximately $800. The claim will continue to be reviewed.
Commissioners also approved the Countywide Cost Allocation Plan prepared by Robert W. Aitken, CPA. The action authorized Chairman David Sickel to sign the certification of the information included in the plan to be submitted to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for indirect cost reimbursement in the collections of child support.
The Board of Commissioners are also requesting by letter the Nebraska State Patrol consider placement of a trooper in Richardson County.
