(KNZA)--A Doniphan County road foreman has resigned.
Third District Road foreman Bill Herring presented a letter of resignation to the Doniphan County Commission Tuesday. No reason was given for the resignation which is effective January 31st.
Also Sheriff Chad Clary informed the commission of the resignation of dispatcher Whitney Morgan effective January 31st. Clary will use available personnel to fill in until the position is filled.
And the commission approved the repair of a cement box culvert located 1.4 miles north of Buffalo Road and 295th Road at a total cost of $49,509.
Husker Steel will provide the labor and the county will provide the rip rap and cement for the project.
