(KAIR)--There were very few changes after the Atchison County Commissioners met for their annual reorganization meeting Tuesday.
According to Commission Chair Jeff Schuele, counties, by statute, are required to hold re-reorganization meeting during their second meeting of January.
During the meeting, Commissioner Jeff Schuele was re-elected Chairman for 2014 by a 3-0 vote. Commissioner Mike Bodenhausen was re-elected Vice-Chairman, also by a 3-0 vote.
The three Commissioners were also appointed to various county advisory boards for the coming year. Schuele was appointed to the Community Corrections advisory board and the MO-KAN regional board. Bodenhausen was appointed to the Project Concern Advisory board, the Community Health Board, and the NEK-CAP regional board. Finally, Commissioner Bill Pohl was appointed to the Justice/Juvenile and NEK-CAP local advisory boards.
