(KMZA)--The former executive director of the housing authority in the Washington County, Ks community of Linn has pleaded guilty to a federal theft charge.
U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom says 53-year-old Debra Savage, of Linn, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of theft from a federal program.
In her plea, Grissom says Savage admitted that between Dec. 3rd, 2009 and Dec. 1st, 2012, she used a credit card issued to the Linn Housing Authority for personal expenses totaling nearly 77-hundred dollars.
Sentencing is set for April 4. She faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
