(KAIR)--Two more juveniles have been taken into custody for their part in an alleged vehicle burglary on Atchison's Jayhawk Drive on Monday. According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, police knew who both suspects were, and were investigating the case, when both suspects turned themselves in. The second suspect surrendered around midday Tuesday, with the third coming in during the evening Tuesday. Both are facing charges of aggravated battery and burglary.
A 33-year old victim interrupted the burglary and sustained a leg injury after two of the suspects ran him over with their vehicle while attempting to escape.
