(KMZA)--Charges have been filed against a suspect in a New Year’s day homicide in the Pottawatomie County town of St. Marys.
Pottawatomie County authorities said 24-year-old Levi Bishop, of Rossville, was found shot to death inside a car early Wednesday morning after the car pulled up to the St. Marys police station and a passenger flagged down an officer.
Prosecutor Sherri Schuck told WIBW-TV on Thursday that her office has charged 21-year-old Pablo Alberto Gonzalez with second-degree murder. The St. Marys man was being held in the Pottawatomie County Jail on $1 million bond and did not have a lawyer.
Authorities said Bishop had been a passenger in Gonzalez's car.
