(KTNC) -- This is the time of year when community groups and organizations often work together to help those less fortunate. The Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership has received a donation that will help several local families.
Members of the Humboldt Motor Sports have donated 72 pounds of hamburger meat and several cases of personal care products that SENCA will distribute to area households.
The donation from Humboldt Motor Sports is made possible from events the organization hosts throughout the year, including the Humboldt Tractor Pull held each June.
Individuals or families in need of emergency assistance in Richardson County can contact Melissa Hardenberger at the SENCA Outreach office in Falls City at 402-245-5284.
Those living outside Richardson County can contact the Central Office in Humboldt at 402-862-2411, or the local SENCA office in their county. Information about SENCA programs is available on the organization’s website, www.senca.org.
