(KAIR)--Atchison police were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance at the 500 block of Park around 10:30 Saturday night. Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says that when officers arrived, they found the 28-year old female victim to be in a very distressed state. She told police that there had been damage to the property, as well as being the victim of battery. 27-year old Zachary Harding of Atchison was taken into custody at the scene as a result of this report.
