(KLZA) -- The Falls City, City Council is expected to take action on a labor agreements with the IBEW Local 1536 and the CWA Union as recommended by the Negotiating Committees when they meet Monday night at 6.
The Council will conduct a public hearing on a re-plat in the Chelsea Addition recommended by the City Planning Commission. Other business items include action on a resolution allowing Mayor Tim Hersh to execute Housing Rehabilitation Services Contract with Southeast Nebraska Development District. Action also expected on a memorandum of understanding between the City and Community Medical Center for health services.
A recommendation form the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department for Ken Simpson as Fire Chief, Jon McQueen as First Assistant Chief and Jim Liming as Second Assistant Chief for the next year will also be acted on by Council members.
