(KLZA) -- Rick Janssen has been elected President of the Auburn City Council for the next year. The action occurred during Monday night’s meeting.
The annual City Appointments were confirmed with no changes from last year. Sherry Heskett will be the City Clerk; Joe Casey – City Treasurer; Angelo Ligouri – City Attorney; Louie Ligouri and Dylan Handley – Assistant City Attorney’s; Dr. Gary Ensz – Physician; Glen Hogue – Building Inspector; Harry Bridgemn – Street Commissioner and Even Wickersahm with JEO serving as City Engineer and Street Superintendent.
In other action the Auburn Council approved ratification of the City Employee Health Insurance Plan with an affective Date of December 1st with Alliant Insurance. The plan remains the same as last year with a four percent increase in cost.
