(KAIR)--An Atchison man, recently released from jail, is in trouble again for violating a court ordered protection order.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, on December 5th, 33-year-old Kevin Flynn of Atchison was arrested for domestic battery for an incident that allegedly occurred on the 200 block of North 3rd. He was subsequently released from jail with an order not to have contact with the victim in that case.
Wilson says that officers were called to the same residence around 2:30 Tuesday morning to investigate a violation of a protection order. and when they arrived, they found Flynn at the residence of the victim from the previous case, the victim he was ordered not to have contact with. He was arrested for violation of a protection order, and during that arrest, marijuana was found on his person.
Flynn was transported to the Atchison County jail where he faces charges of violation of a protection order and possession of marijuana.
