(KAIR)--It was a two for one deal for Atchison police Thursday.
A local man was taken into custody after taking part in two separate incidents Thursday morning involving two different victims. Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says that both cases took place hours apart.
The first case involved a report of alleged domestic battery that took place just after midnight in the 300 clock of North 3rd involving a 29-year-old female victim. The second incident occurred just before 8:30 in the 1100 block of Commercial involving a 34-year-old male victim. 33-year-old Kevin Flynn was taken into custody at the site of the second incident.
Wilson says that during the domestic violence case, Flynn allegedly shoved the victim to the ground and choked her. During the second incident, he allegedly broke down a door. Also, while officers were arresting Flynn, they found what appeared to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Atchison County Jail where he faces charges of criminal trespass, criminal damage to property, possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond information is available at this time.
