(KNZA)--A second suspect wanted in connection with several Jackson County burglaries in early October has been arrested.
The Topeka Capital Journal reports 25-year-old Justin Bond was taken into custody late Wednesday night in Shawnee County by fugitive task force units at a mobile home park.
43-year-old Topeka resident David Dresch was arrested earlier Wednesday after leading Shawnee County deputies on a high-speed chase following a report of a residential burglary in that county.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the two men were wanted by Jackson County authorities in connection with an October 8th burglary at a residence on the southwestern side of the Potawatomi Reservation near 118th and G Roads, and two burglaries a week earlier in the south-central and southeastern portion of the county.
Morse says investigators identified the men from images captured on a resident’s video surveillance camera near the 118th and G Road location, and arrest warrants were issued on November 15th.
Dresch and Bond are also believed to be responsible for numerous burglaries Shawnee, Jefferson and Osage counties.
