(KAIR)--Atchison police did not have to go far to make an arrest in an alleged domestic violence case.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says the alleged incident took place shortly before 8:30 Wednesday morning at a residence located in the 1100 block of North 10th Street. 42-year old James Hall arrived at police headquarters shortly after along with the 42-year old victim. Upon investigation, Hall was arrested shortly after.
Wilson says the criminal threat charge comes from an alleged threat made through a text message sent to the victim.
Hall faces charges of domestic battery, criminal threat, and obstructing the legal process. No bond information is available at this time.
