(KAIR)--Multiple electronic items have gone missing from an Atchison residence, and Atchison police are actively investigating.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, Atchison resident Zachary Nill reported Friday morning that a residence located in the 1100 block of North 5th St. had been forcibly entered. When police arrived, they found that a window had been broken and three televisions, a guitar, a laptop computer, and a Playstation game system had been removed. Total estimated loss is estimated to be around $3,000.
Wilson says that Nill does not live at the residence, but was simply a concerned third party. The occupants of the home were not present at the time of the alleged burglary, and police estimate that it took place sometime between the 26th and 29th. The investigation is ongoing.
