(KAIR)--After a nearly year long battle, the shareholders of Atchison based MGP ingredients are finally planning to gather for their annual meeting on December 17th. They had tried to meet last August, but the current leadership of MGP filed a petition with the Kansas Court of Appeals to have the meeting delayed, which was granted.
However, the court ended that stay in October, freeing shareholders to meet. Karen Seaberg, who is a member of the board of directors as well as part of the Cray family group which has been working to regain control of the company her family has held for decades, has said that the meeting is the final step to be taken to get the company back to normal, day to day operations.
