(KNZA)--The annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Holton will be held Thursday.
The dinner will take place from 11 to 1 at St. Dominic Parish Hall at 416 Ohio Avenue. The dinner is open to all, regardless of age, hometown, income bracket or religious affiliation. The dinner serves an average of 300 people each year.
Organizer Freda Galer says volunteers are needed to help cook, serve, deliver meals, give rides to and from the dinner and greet those who visit the parish hall for their dinner. In addition, she says food items are needed.
To make a food donation or to pledge volunteer services for the dinner, call Galer at 364-4160 or 364-7829.
Monetary donations are also been accepted for the dinner. You can contact Frances DeVader at 364-2507 for more information.
