Marshall Co Neighborhood Revitalization Plan Modified
11/22/2013

(KMZA)--The Marshall County Neighborhood Revitalization Plan has been modified for 2014-2016.

The Marshall County Commission voted this week to shorten the program from three to five years.

The program provides a property tax break for new construction or renovation of an existing structure.  Under the modified plan, the property tax break will be 80 percent the first year, 60 percent the second year, and 30 percent the third year.

The plan will also suggest that applicants use Marshall County contractors and suppliers on all projects.
