(KLZA) -- The Judicial Nominating Commission for the County Court in the 2nd Judicial District has forwarded the names of four nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman for his consideration.
The nominees are: S. Colin Palm of Bellevue; Stefanie A. Martinez of Papillion; George A. Thompson of Papillion; and Stephanie R. Hansen of Omaha.
The vacancy is due to Judge Jeffrey J. Funke becoming a District Court Judge – 2nd Judicial District in July 2013, having previously served as this county’s County Court Judge. The County Court 2nd Judicial District consists of Cass, Sarpy and Otoe Counties.
