Nemaha Co Commission Asked to Hire County Counselor
(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Commission is being asked to hire a county counselor.
Several county department heads met with the commission Monday to request that the commission replace Assistant County Attorney Hillary Boye when she leaves at the end of the year with a county counselor, and only have County Attorney Brad Lippert serve as county prosecutor.
The department heads said they need an attorney’s help with the duties they are required to perform in their offices.
Discussion was held, but the commission made no decision at this time.
