(KLZA) -- The Nemaha County, Nebraska Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with Nebraska and Iowa authorities are investigating the discovery of a body, found in the Missouri River, Sunday afternoon.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department received a call that the body of a white male had been discovered along the bank of the Missouri River approximately two miles north of the Peru Boat Dock. The body was discovered by people fishing in the area.
The identity of the body has not been confirmed. An autopsy is being conducted. No other details are available at this time.
