(KNZA)-- Two local residents have been sworn in as Kansas attorneys.
Among those receiving the oath during a ceremony Friday before the Kansas Supreme Court and U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas were Elizabeth Weingart of Hiawatha and Leigh Ann Massey of Denton.
They successfully passed their Kansas Bar exam in July.
Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Lawton Nuss presided over the ceremony.
