Today Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (KS-02) announced her Fourth Annual Jobs Fair to be held on Friday, September 27, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in Topeka. The jobs fair is free, open to the public, and welcomes any business currently seeking employees. Job seekers are not required to register and can find more information about the event at www.lynnjenkins.house.gov/jobsfair. Employers interested in having a table at the jobs fair may register online or call Bill Roe at (785) 234-5966.
“I continue to hear from Eastern Kansans who are struggling to find work and provide for their families during these tough times. The jobs fair is one effort to help these folks by connecting Kansans who are looking for work with businesses that are actually hiring,” said Congresswoman Jenkins. “I am pleased that we already have several businesses registered to attend including representatives from the health care, manufacturing, financial services, and education industries.”
