(KAIR)--There may be some minor delays in your commute as your travel through the city of Atchison as Westar energy work's on the city's electrical system.
According to a press release from Westar, a one block section of 10th Street between Kansas Avenue and Commercial Street will be closed to through traffic for several days while work is being done.
The work started today, and is expected to last three days.
During this time, traffic will be detoured around the closed street while contractors install a steel pole. Power outages from this work are not expected.
