(KLZA) -- Richardson County Commission Tuesday approved a bid to re-roof the Armory building.
The bid was awarded to Roofers Inc. of Nebraska City at a price of $40,385. The start date for the project is October 1st and is to be completed within 15 days.
In other business, County Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert told the Board the Preston Road hard surfacing project schedule has been slowed down by recent rains.
Huppert also reported State and Federal agencies recently concluded their bridge inspections in Richardson County and it appears the bridges are in compliance. Huppert noted a safety meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 4th at 7:30 a-m at the County Shop. He also informed the Board Steve Darveau Jr. will be the safety coordinator for the Road and Bridge Department.
