(KNZA)-- A Horton man convicted of aggravated criminal sodomy with a child born in 2002 has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
24-year-old Wyatt Brown was handed the sentence Monday in Brown County District Court. Brown was given credit for 191 days served.
He pleaded no contest to the felony charge in late July.
Brown was arrested in March following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Kansas Highway Patrol.
He is a registered sex offender, convicted in 2006 in Brown County on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with an 11-year-old girl.
