Nemaha Valley Chrysler Raises Funds for School
(KMZA)-- Nemaha Valley Chrysler helped to raise $2,400 in funding for Saints Peter and Paul School with Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids program.
The fundraising event was held on August 21, in conjunction with an open house event.
Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school on their behalf from the Chrysler brand by taking a brief test drive in a 2013 model Town & Country minivan along with other Chrysler vehicles made available for test drives thanks to Nemaha Valley Chrysler.
At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids™ program.
Since 1993, when Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids™, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation. Chrysler has contributed nearly $5 million directly to local schools for student needs, from playgrounds and field trips to reading programs and new computers.
